Corrinne May - plays at her favourite coffeehouse

Peets Coffee and Tea, 18973 Ventura Boulevard, Tarzana, CA 91356

It’s been a while since I’ve sung at my favourite coffeehouse, and I figured, it would be a good time to do so, since Christmas is around the corner

I’ll be brewing up some coffeehouse music, spiced with a touch of Christmas carols this coming Tuesday the 23rd of December @ 7 p.m at Peet's Coffee & Tea in Los Angeles. Some of my Peets friends will also be sharing their music. Sami Maalouf will be playing the Oud and Darryl Morris, with his trusty guitar in tow, will sing his songs. Come join us

Hi friends,

I played my very first show in Korea this Saturday the 11th of October 2014. I had such a wonderful time :) Thanks to all who came for the show :)
You can find some snippets of the performance I did for the Zandari Festa 2014 @ the Evans Lounge at my Youtube channel at www.youtube.com/corrinnemay
I've also posted some pics on my facebook site at www.facebook.com/corrinnemaymusic

I'm also excited about adding 'writer' to my list of roles :) I have a new weekly column on the website mothership.sg and this column is my 'journal' of sorts, where I explore how the themes of love and sacrifice are intrinsically intertwined in this intersection between the roots and wings of life. Intrigued?
Here's the first column : http://mothership.sg/2014/01/roots-wings-tug-of-war-singapore-los-angeles/ and my latest column http://mothership.sg/2014/10/roots-and-wings-corrinne-may-unplugged-from-technology/

Thanks for listening :)

Meanwhile, I am working to get the backline ready, coordinating with our Production Manager from "Running Into The Sun" (awesome production company run by Beatrice Chai, the company also worked with us last year at Gardens By The Bay), book tickets for… Read more

About Corrinne's newest album

‘Crooked Lines’ is the title of Corrinne May’s 5th and latest album, a title that came to her as she watched her daughter drawing with crayons one afternoon.

“She was drawing what seemed to me to be random, crooked lines all over the drawing paper, but she was telling me exactly what she was drawing- namely, a butterfly. And I thought to myself, perhaps that’s how it is in life. Life is never a journey that goes in a straight line. Just like sailing, we reach our destination with… Read more
