For those of you in Singapore, Happy National Day! Singapore is 50 years old today.
To celebrate the occasion, I have written, not one, but two songs :)
The latest song called 'Bless Our Singapore' was written on behalf of the Catholic Church of Singapore,
as a prayer and a blessing for this, Singapore's Jubilee year.
The music video was just released a few days ago. It is a video that I had a wonderful and emotional
time filming with my daughter Claire. Thanks to the Archdiocese of Singapore and Pixelmusica and
all the others who helped to put forward this music video.
You can hear the song and watch the video for 'Bless Our Singapore' below.
The other song 'Kite' is a song that captures the emotional tug-of-war between being with a loved one and leaving a loved one;
between being in a place that anchors you and being in a place where you can fly. I wrote 'Kite' with the incredibly gifted singer-songwriter Charlie Lim
as part of an SG50 music project titled 'Sing, Love'.
Listen/Download 'Kite' for free at http://imclive-group.com/sing-love.html
BTW, if you're an audiophile, download the song. The nuances are much better conveyed in the download. :)
And you can see the video animation of the song here
The song is arranged and produced by Kavin Hoo http://www.earthtones-studio.com
Thanks too to Ruth Ling from Red Roof Records for getting Charlie and I on board this SG50 'Sing,Love' project and for steering the project, and it's music video to fruition.
Thanks also to the T'ang Quartet who play so beautifully on the recording.
So go take a listen :)
I hope you enjoy it.

The sky, the sky!!! finally seeing the lovely blue sky again after so many days of grey haze. Grateful for the respite from the haze. No matter what tomorrow brings, I am enjoying this for now. #grateful #blueskies #freshair
Brought Claire and her cousins on a joy ride yesterday after the lantern and mooncake party at my aunt's house. Thanks Pronnies for letting us ride the #jeep #jeepwrangler :)) #midautumnfestival
Lovely meeting up with Ken Lim again backstage at #TheFinal1Ch5 Not many people know this, but back when I was in junior college, I used to intern at #hyperecords and learnt about the ins and outs of record production by observing Ken and his team. Ken also gave me the opportunity to try out my songwriting chops back when I was a teenager by letting me write melodies to Jessica Soo's lyrics on her 'Paper Feelings' album :) Good to know that he's as passionate as ever about music and the music industry. #runningintooldfriends
Bumped into Azni at #TheFinal1Ch5 he helped me design the very first cd cover for the Singapore edition of 'Fly Away' ie. the one with the lilac blue background and paper plane for Yellow Music. Anyone has a copy of that first print? Great to see you again Azni and good to know you're still as passionate about fashion :)
Guess where? I am waiting backstage at #TheFinal1Ch5 The show is going live at 9.30 pm and the contestants will be singing a couple of my songs. I'm going to be giving some feedback too :) Thanks #brunellocucinellisg @brunellocucinelli for the clothes this evening.

Happy Mid-Autumn Festival! Feeling like a kid again carrying my squirrel lantern. #midautumn
I asked Kavin to draw me some koalas on the chalkboard and he drew this cute pic :) #koalas #chalkboard
Claire's drawing yesterday on my new chalkboard wall. Love the fact that she draws faces even on the umbrellas! :) #chalkboard
